On June 25 a broad sector of community organizations and legal organizations denounced the supreme court against the decision that allows racial profiling on immigration status. To further the action the organizations held a community forum in Escondido public library. About 150 attendees discussed on the Secure Community Program and the Trust Act.
The Trust Act is a legislative proposal that promotes changing the communication between local authorities and federal immigration authorities, a contrast to what other states like the Arizona SB1070 law. This act will help to diminish the number of families that are being separated, people who are being detained and or deported.
