Become a Fair Housing Tester
Do you want to help the San Diego community in combating housing discrimination? This is your opportunity to become a fair housing tester!
Fair Housing testers play an important role in identifying and addressing fair housing discrimination.
Fair Housing Testers participate in investigations of housing discrimination complaints by posing as prospective renters to gather information that may be used to assist CSA San Diego County to determine if housing providers and others are complying with local, State or Federal Fair Housing Laws.
CSA San Diego County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is the promotion of social justice and public welfare through programs, services, and advocacy against all forms of discrimination, including advocacy for the eradication of housing discrimination to assure equal housing opportunity for all individuals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be 18 years old or older
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Possess strong writing skills
Possess a reliable, insured and registered vehicle
Complete CSA's Testing program training
CSA is currently offering paid training for this position.
The Fair Housing Tester Position is an on-call position and may require flexibility in completing assignments.
This job is on call/part time with a flexible schedule.
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per test.
Education requirements:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
